Precision Guessworks is part of a unique program where our mentors are just barely older than the students. With similar ages, we are able to connect and relate with each other far better than we could have imagined. One clear example of this in action is our spirit. The Purdue FIRST family contains The Westside Boiler Invasion, HBR [Harrision Boiler Robotics] and [Boiler] Precision Guessworks. Inspired by our Sister's (HBR) drive for the Buckeye Regional Championship, the family got together on the side lines and helped her win the program's first regional.

Our effort was deafening and we got noticed. In the Purdue student newspaper, The Exponent, contained an article from a parent that described the event:

"[...]By the time the championship match came up, all the students from Jeff, Westside and Harrison were massed together chanting 'Boiler Up!' and cheering for the Harrison robot. That show of unanimous support speaks volumes about the quality of leadership of the three teams and the students on each team.[...]" - Larry Theller Purdue Staff and Father of a member of HBR

Inspired by a similar experience for the Purdue Basketball program, the mentors have come up with the "official 4^th Bot" cheering section. Whenever a single alliance has a Purdue FIRST family member on it, specifically in the elimination rounds, the family will do our best to sway the energy in favor of our sister(s).
